…When are your services?
Our worship service begins at 9 AM with worship in song, announcements, and a Bible-based message. In addition, on the third Sunday of each month, we’re typically treated to a Family Talk for kids of all ages. The service usually ends at 10 AM, followed by fellowship over refreshments.

…What should I wear?
Come as you like! We have a very casual environment where most people dress comfortably, whether it’s business casual or jeans, and even short pants and t-shirts. What’s more important is being clothed with an attitude of drawing near to God in worship.

…Where do I park?
Our church is located at 28 Moccasin Lane in Rolling Hills Estates. Please click here for a map and directions.

As you enter the church grounds from Moccasin Lane, the sanctuary will be just to your left. Please drive past the sanctuary to the rear parking lot. PVBC shares the facility with another church which uses the front parking lot. Note that handicapped parking is available in the front lot.

 …What about my kids?
At PVBC, special care is given to every child. Before worship service you may drop off your infants, toddlers, and preschool children with our childcare team who will help your child grow in knowing that God loves them and is always with them. Pre-K/Kindergarten through fifth grade begin worship with their families and are released to their classes before the sermon. More information may be found at this link.

Middle school and high school students are encouraged to begin worship with their families and are released to their classes before the sermon. More information can be found at this link.

…What will the worship experience be like?
You will be welcomed by our ushers and greeters, who will guide you and answer any questions you have.

As we continue to adjust to Covid, wearing a face mask is optional. Please consider your health and comfort in deciding whether or not to wear a mask, and please respect those who make choices different from yours.

Services begin with announcements and worship through song. Our music is a mix of contemporary songs and traditional hymns sometimes followed by a special feature, such as highlighting one of our missions partners or outreach opportunities. On the first Sunday of each month, we receive Communion and on the last Sunday of each month, we have a short time in which any person present can share a word of praise or a prayer request with the congregation.

The pastor or guest speaker will then come up and share a message from the Bible. Our goal is to communicate Biblical truths in a manner that is accurate, relevant, and helpful.

The sermon is followed up by another time of response, usually through a song that provides time and space for people to process and/or worship.

At the end of the service, the pastor will give a benediction to conclude our worship service. Most people stay to enjoy refreshments and connect with one another inside the fellowship hall or outside on the adjacent patio. We are a warm and welcoming church!
