PVBC MISSIONS

Love In Name of Christ also known as, Love INC, serves the poor and needy in our community through the local churches.

In 2013, PVBC participated in the Backpack collection during August in which PVBC supplied about 20 stocked backpacks. In November and December, PVBC adopted 4 families for Christmas. Each adopted family received a grocery gift card and each member of the family received a special gift appropriate to their age. Eighteen people were adopted in all! 

Beacon Light Mission founded in 1902 is located in Wilmington, CA and has served the needy and poor of the South Bay for 100 years.

It is fully served by the local ministries and churches in the community.  It seeks to give “Soup, Soap and Salvation” to men and women and children.  We were able to support the mission a handful of times with youth specific and adult/family teams anywhere from about 3-12 people at a time.  We continue to encourage any member interested in leading this effort to slate and organize volunteers to contact us.
